In March, after attending his friends dinosaur birthday party, Benjamin told me he wanted a firetruck party. This was a brilliant idea as his birthday was before our expected move date in July. So the plan was to take a tour of the firestation for his party. Then we got the early move notice. I was broken hearted for Benjamin to not have his firetruck birthday party since he had made so many friends and he had wanted one so bad. I figured that it was a good way to say good-bye and so we did a combined birthday party for the boys since Garrett's was a few days before we left.
We were privileged to get a private tour of the station, living quarters, and trucks.

The station was awesome and took care of the goodies and gave all the kids hats, coloring books, pencils, badges, stickers, and rulers. Score!
We then had cake at the bowling alley across the street.

My sweet friend made the cake for the party. It was sooo helpful as we moved the next day.

Here are the boys and their friends in Alabama. Oh how we miss them!

And here are my friends, love you ladies!
