Benjamin-Still refuses to try to learn alphabet letters and his numbers. But every once in awhile will point them out, like the time he looked at Joseph's shirt and told us all the letters. He LOVES Disney movies and could watch the same one every day for a month. He also loves grandmas house. When asked if we should go to AL he exuberantly says, "No lets stay at Grandmas." He loves swimming with daddy at the waterpark. His new favorite activity is miniature golfing. We go first thing in the morning when it is empty so we don't have to rush and the kids can enjoy it. He hasn't had a true golfing lesson yet so he still swings at the ball like baseball. He is so wonderful in that as soon as he wakes up he gets dressed before coming out of his room. The other day during bath time he discovered that he could make Evelyn laugh if he pretended to sneeze at her. They all loved it. We are starting piano lessons and working on playing middle c with the #1 finger. It was pretty cute one day as I saw him try to give Garrett a piano lesson.
Garrett-He is one goofy funny kid. He is either way happy or crying. I was shocked as I tried to sing the ABC's with Benjamin that Garrett was singing most of it with me. For all the lumps he has taken to his head, I think he will be alright. He loves to count. I think he mostly just has the order memorized, but still I love that he tries. He is one restless sleeper and is all over his bed at night. Half the time he wakes up on Benjamin's bed. He and my dad have a special bond and he gets away with things no one else could. My dad is always more than happy to have Garrett come in his office and sit on his lap while he works.
Evelyn-She has hit a few growing moments and is now a mischievous, active little girl. My sister was putting her pj's on and asked, "She doesn't hold still does she?" Evelyn is constantly moving. Church is impossible to sit through. There is no resting or calmness with her. She is 9 months tomorrow and is climbing stairs, standing, waving, pulling out movies and all that other curious monkey stuff. Her hair is quite the fuzz ball and needs something done to it, but I am not quite sure what. She is still a momma's girl and daddy is the only one who can hold her for more than a minute without her crying, twisting, and reaching for me. It has been fabulous the past few nights. We put her in my mom's office at night and she and I have had much better sleep and better attitudes in the day. It makes life much more bearable now.

In March, after attending his friends dinosaur birthday party, Benjamin told me he wanted a firetruck party. This was a brilliant idea as his birthday was before our expected move date in July. So the plan was to take a tour of the firestation for his party. Then we got the early move notice. I was broken hearted for Benjamin to not have his firetruck birthday party since he had made so many friends and he had wanted one so bad. I figured that it was a good way to say good-bye and so we did a combined birthday party for the boys since Garrett's was a few days before we left.
