My two boys

My little boys are awesome! Benjamin has finally decided that it is good to wear underwear and stay dry! Just in time. Yeah! We still have the night time to conquer, but a dry day is much appreciated. Garrett is growing up fast. He doesn't say much, just please (putting his lips together and blowing through them), mama, dada, and boo. But he understands a lot. Now whether he obeys or not... sometimes he is such a rebel. He can climb into the van and in his car seat. All these things will be helpful with 3. I have really appreciated them being so good as we have been to the dr's 8 times in the last 5 weeks. Between the baby, routine check-ups, and my never ending ear infection we have spent a lot of time in the waiting room. These boys have been so patient.
Here are some pictures of their big grins. We decorated Halloween cookies last night, a tradition for years (missed you family). You can see their delight in eating cookies.

Garrett has learned to pose for the camera. Love his smile-with only 6 teeth. He only had 4 until 3 weeks ago. Unfortunately his teeth are slow and oh so painful.

Benjamin helping daddy build k'nex during conference. Joseph was such a little boy and wouldn't let the boys touch it until he was done. They were such pesty little brothers during the making process and it was funny to see all 3 of them react to each other like older/younger brothers.
As I have been preparing things for #3, I rearranged things in the boys dresser. Benjamin rediscovered his hat, necklace, and puppy dog slippers. He was so excited and had to put them all on (right before bedtime) and danced around the house.

My friend threw me a baby shower to help get ready for a girl. It was surreal to see the pink decorations and open pink gifts. I felt like it was someone else's shower. One of my friends went all out with a diaper cake, tying shampoos, lotions, toys, and binkies around the outside. The boys woke up the next morning infatuated with the cake. They played with all the little things excitedly. And then Benjamin saw something in the middle. "MOMMY THERE IS A BOTTLE WITH CANDY IN IT!" You would have thought it was Christmas morning with how excited he was. Had to show off Garrett's posed smile again, and then another picture to show how intrigued the boys were.
