The Airshow

Joseph has been planning a trip to the airshow forever ago! I wanted to go, but was not in a state to go out in public for an all-day event. So Joseph and Benjamin went and had a great day together.

The machine that inspired my husband-a helicopter. When people ask if Joseph joined the military because he felt a sense of duty, nope it was only to fly helicopters. I learned the true obsession my husband has for them while gardening with Benjamin. My little boy, 22 months old pointed out an airplane in the sky. About a half hour later he pointed out the helicopter in the sky. He had never seen either up close to be able to make a distinction between the two. Joseph had apparently been teaching him his aircraft.

Benjamin's favorite part of the show-the big trucks. Joseph said Benjamin kept wanting to go back to this one over and over. Benjamin also wanted to go look at the semi-trucks (that carried vehicles to the show) instead of the planes.

Some cargo carrying plane.

Walking through the cargo plane.

Benjamin trying to watch the planes in the sky. Apparently he didn't like the jets, they were too loud and scared him. Also by that point it was nap time so he was a little sensitive.

What a beautiful bouquet-the peace offering sent to me by Joseph's army recruiter. Ha Ha, ok ok, really it was very nice of him.
