First of all, today is my 5 year anniversary. Crazy! I can't believe how long it's been. Ok Teresa, Corry, Jake, and now Heather, it is has been way too long without a wedding for our family. Get going! :) This last weekend was the Orem Suumerfest and I wanted to spoil Benjamin with attention and fun since his life has been turned upside down recently. We had a great time Friday at the carnival. We let him ride the merry-go-round, car ride, and boat ride. It's nice with only one kid-it isn't pricy. I was so nice and bought him his very own bag of cotton candy. He loved it!!! Oh boy, he was so messy and sticky! The police officers (Joseph's co-workers) spoiled him at their booth and helped Benjamin spin their wheel and land on the bubbles spot. His award was a bubble kit with different wands and a pipe. He was soooo happy! The next day we decided that we would try the parade despite the gloomy weather. Fortunately the weather held until the last part of the parade. It is great only having two people to find seats for-we were able to show up 45 min before the parade and find a small spot front row in front of a utility meter. I am not sure how much Benjamin enjoyed what was in the parade, but he definitely enjoyed being there. It was a great weekend to have some family fun. There are quite a few pictures, Benjamin just had so much fun!

Showing off his face, sticky from bubbles and cotton candy.
What little boy doesn't like running in the street?
Catching some shade before the parade starts.
Someone forgot to use spellcheck!
And two bonus pictures of the two brothers.

5 years comes too fast huh?!? It looks like you guys had a way fun day. It's nice you were able to spoil Benjamin for a bit. We did a similar thing for Jack when Aly was born. It's hard on em!
